Working with Dorothy was so much fun! She made a stressful event very easy for me. She was always calm and organized, which helped me tremendously. I especially appreciated all the extra effort she put in to make my day special. She put together a vanity kit for my guests for the restrooms, which added a nice warm touch. Having her by my side through the planning and especially the day of was a huge help. I could not have survived without her and Henry managing the whole event.
We had 2 ceremonies (Hindu & American Wedding Ceremony), multiple dining events, and 1 BIG wedding reception (250+ guests). Dorothy did an AMAZING job in helping us prepare for and plan all of these events. Her skill was shown in how smooth all of the events flowed. I give her my highest recommendation :)
After months of planning every little detail, it was a comfort to have Dorothy and her team there to ensure that our vision came together. There were so many tricky elements to our day—several wardrobe changes, keeping Pasadena City Hall bystanders from disrupting our ceremony, multiple events at the same time, our a grand arrival by tandem bicycle at our reception, and a general store for our guests to “shop” from. All this, in addition to coordinating with our photographer, DJ, caterer, and bartender. Everything went off without a hitch...thanks to Dorothy!
Dorothy, you were such an amazing asset to our wedding day (and months beforehand)! Your reassuring nature and overall personality were such a blessing to have — I really felt like a friend was guiding me and holding my hand the whole way, answering questions when I was confused and giving advice when it was most needed. The day of the wedding went like clockwork: timing and details were impeccable and there was not a stressful point that day at all. What made me happiest was knowing that my guests were taken care of and comfortable in your hands, letting us just enjoy the celebration.
We could not have asked for a better experience; we were completely able to enjoy the wedding and not worry about a single detail. We had planned for close to a year and you and your staff got every detail perfect. When our reception ended, we still had nothing to worry about because you guys took care of all loose ends. Dorothy was the key ingredient to our wedding success! The day would not have been the same without her—every single little detail was taken care of! She went above and beyond her role and was always available for venting, questions, stress calls! She even stayed at our wedding until the last person left, and actually DROVE us back to our hotel, as transportation we’d arranged had fallen through. Her services did not end at the end of the night, as she was still taking calls from the reception site days later, reporting problems. I’ve recommended Dorothy to a number of people, calling her my lifesaver; the smartest decision we made for our wedding. We worried about nothing!
Months before the wedding, my mother-in-law constantly reminded me that no wedding goes perfectly so I should just relax. Well luckily, she was wrong. My wedding went exactly the way I pictured it!The first thing I did once I got engaged was hire Dorothy. My mom was a bit hesitant about hiring a wedding planner because she wasn’t sure what her role would be. But as soon as our rehearsal started, her hesitation was gone. She told me, “Thank goodness Dorothy is here.” After the wedding, my parents, in-laws and I were all grateful to Dorothy and Henry for all their hard work. I was able to have my perfect, stress-free wedding because of them.
Dorothy was such a great investment! We hired her as our Day-Of-Coordinator and we couldn’t have been happier with the results. Our wedding day ran as perfect as we could have hoped and we owe a lot of that to Dorothy. She had every detail we discussed executed perfectly which allowed us to enjoy our wedding day without any worries. She was always there to answer the many questions we had and offer valuable pieces of advice for our wedding day. We will continue to refer Dorothy to all of our friends because we want them to benefit from her awesome work as much as we did. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you a million times Dorothy!!
First off, I thought I could prepare for my wedding on my own. Then I realized I needed help and I was introduced to Dorothy. We planned for our first meeting. Dorothy was so flexible around my schedule and she even came to a local coffee house near my house, making our meeting very convenient for me. During our meeting, I felt Dorothy was very creative and had a lot to offer with her own invitations, design ideas, references for photo booths and dj’s, etc. I realized how I much more excited I became talking with her. I felt she listened to what I envisioned and we fed on ideas from each other. She really had fresh and great ideas with the type of wedding I wanted. It was a great moment for me.Having Dorothy by my side guiding me and giving me advice and ideas made my wedding decisions less complex and stressful. I have so much gratitude and appreciation to Dorothy and her team.
